The Disciplinary Panel shall
consist of not less than ten registered pharmacists appointed by the Board
and three persons who are not pharmacists appointed by the minister to
represent the public interest.

A member of the Board may not be appointed
to or become a member of the committee.

The Panel shall carry out its duties in accordance with the Pharmacy Act and
Pharmacy Regulations.

The Board shall appoint one of the registered pharmacist members of the
Panel as chairperson.

Members of the Panel shall be appointed for a term of three years, from
September 1st to August 31st., and may be reappointed.

A complaint referred to the Panel by the Complaints Authorization Committee
shall be considered by an adjudication tribunal consisting of at least three
members of the Disciplinary Panel, one of whom shall be a member of the
Panel appointed by the Minister.

The Panel and
Adjudication Tribunals of the Panel will meet as required in response to
complaints referred to them by the Complaints Authorization Committee as
well as to conduct other business as appropriate.
