The
sub-committee shall consist of at least three members appointed by the
Board.

The
sub-committee membership should consist of registered pharmacists.

The
sub-committee shall be responsible for professional practice issues
related to the provision of pharmaceutical care to Personal Care Homes
and Long Term Care Facilities.

Members of the
sub-committee shall be appointed for a term of three years, from
September 1st to August 31st, and may be reappointed.

The Board shall
appoint a chairperson of the sub-committee and other officers as
required.

The
Secretary-Registrar, or his/her delegate, shall act as secretary of the
sub-committee (ex-officio).

The
sub-committee shall meet at least twice in each calendar year.

The
sub-committee shall make recommendations to the Board with respect to
Standards of Pharmacy Practice for pharmacists related to Long Term Care
Facilities and Personal Care Homes.

The
sub-committee shall report to the Board on a regular basis and when
requested to do so.
