Registration & Licensing Committee

Terms of Reference

The committee shall be responsible for all matters relating to the requirements for initial registration and annual licensing of pharmacists, continuing pharmaceutical education and continuing professional development, and any other matters referred to it by the Board.

The committee shall be responsible for the preparation, conduct, and correction of all examinations required by the Board.

The Registration & Licensing Committee shall operate in accordance with the NLPB Policy on Committees of the Board, except where otherwise noted in this Terms of Reference.

• The Registration & Licensing Committee shall consist of at least three members appointed by the Board.

• The committee shall meet at least twice in each calendar year.

• The Deputy Registrar, or his/her delegate, shall act as secretary of the committee (ex-officio).

• The Registration & Licensing Committee shall act as the Education Committee and the Board of Examiners referred to in the Pharmacy Regulations.

• The committee shall report the results of all examinations to the Board.
